February 2009
We've been sleeping for a while but for 2009 there is a lot of material to add to this website:

1. Studio quality reels from the archive
2. A rustic recording of the Geronimo Jimi Hendrix night
3. Glastonbury 1971 - more archives, posters, stickers, some amazing stuff
4. TV Documentary - the rough cut 10 minute demo
4. A selection of listeners letters from 1970. OK, hundreds of letters to transcribe and publish:

These letters are from enthusiastic music lovers. Are we to suppose that their enthusiasm for good music died when Geronimo was silenced in 1970? Our enthusiasm hasn't. It's only radio that has died. But we are still alive, and so are many of the millions who listened keenly to Geronimo in 1970.

5. We now have 3x archive shows from Barry Everitt onboard the radioship MV Amigo at our sister website www.radioseagull.co.uk

2010 will be our 40th anniversary so we intend to do something very special.

Please check back soon, or send us a message

Radio Geronimo lives on right here, right now...

where several members of the original team continue to contribute studio quality archive recordings

New programmes are currently being produced, and can be heard at www.geronimosociety.com

A Geronimo exclusive is a psychedelic experience from the legendary Nick Nicely
This  programme was initially aired via Radio Seagull on 1602 Khz at midnight on 1st July 2005

Geronimo represents Quality, Integrity, Honesty and truly fine music FOR discerning music enthusiasts FROM discerning music enthusiasts.

In 2005 there was a 'Geronimo' radio broadcast on 9290Khz short wave. It seems an opportune time to point out that this short wave broadcast had absolutely no connection with this website which represents the original Radio Geronimo and has the support of several members of the original Radio Geronimo team.

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to search out this website.

Multiple reception reports were gratefully received from listeners in Spain, Canada, Finland, Japan, USA, Belgium, Sweden, Australia, Italy, Russia, Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, since we did not initiate the broadcast, we could neither confirm the reports nor send out QSL cards. All reception reports were passed on to the Radio Geronimo Short Wave team and you can expect a reply from them. Following an amicable correspondence Radio Geronimo Short Wave will be changing their name.

9290Khz - 19th June 2005
'Geronimo Shortwave' made another broadcast. Once again we thank you for your e-mails but the Radio Geronimo represented by this website did not initiate the broadcast. We are therefore unable to verify your reception reports.
